Flor Garcia, originally from Los Angeles, CA, relocated with her husband to Phoenix for more job opportunities. She had 12 years of experience recruiting before joining the Earthscapes team, notably for an Aerospace company in California and retail recruiting. She also has spent three years working in professional services roles such as administration and customer service.
With her 12 years of experience in recruiting, Flor currently serves as the main point of contact for all open positions at Earthscapes, ranging from laborer positions to project engineers and field superintendent roles. She finds great satisfaction in seeing the completion of landscape projects accomplished by her team. Knowing that she had a small part in that process brings a huge smile to her face, she says.
For Flor, the biggest piece of advice she can give is to “Find a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life”. Outside of work, Flor enjoys cooking, reading, and spending quality time with her family. Whenever possible, she takes the opportunity to visit her loved ones in California by driving or flying to see them.
